Toy Switcheroo

My sister had this table at her house and T loved it. He's gotten a little too tall for his lion stand-up toy, so we took that to Benny and brought this home. He's super happy with the switcheroo!

Sleepytime Night Night

Since I last blogged Turner has popped two more teeth. He is working on another that you can see through the skin, giving him a total of 7 chompers. Turner and Mommy have worked hard for those teeth! I hope number 8 makes a speedy, painless entry!

The number one topic of conversation around this house is SLEEP, or the lack thereof. Turner had gotten into a pretty good routine of going to bed about 7:30, getting up at 3:30 for a bottle, and then up at 7 for the day - no fussing involved. However, the past several weeks, I think due to teething and whatnot, Turner has been fussing like none other at bedtime and waking up multiple times fussing throughout the night.

Being the researcher that I am, I scoured several books and read some articles about sleep. After my research, I think I was putting T to bed too late and our routine was not long enough. We started a new routine three days ago, that is working so far. Fingers crossed! Our routine starts at 6:30 and  goes something like this:

1. Turn off tv and dim lights. Turn on humidifier in nursery for white noise
2. Play in crib in diaper (T's favorite thing to do in the evening)
3. Give Turner a bath and slather him in Auquafor
4. Put on jammies
5. Read a few books
6. Give T his bottle in the rocking chair.
7. Take him to his crib and sing Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star
8. Night night Turner!

Hopefully, if I stay consistent, the little man will continue to sleep well! He has napped like a champ the last few days too! Yippee!

And now for some Turner cuteness.
